Thank you for opening your heart and your home to a puppy / dog from Yellow Brick Road Rescue NJ, Inc. By adopting, you’ll make space available for us to save more puppies / dogs in need.
**BEFORE PROCEEDING** please make sure you are fully committed to the lifetime of your new puppy / dog got up to 10+ years and not just wanting one while being home for COVID 19**
**Before applying, please note:**
Please do not apply on a whim! Out of consideration for the time and energy of our small team, we ask that you apply only when certain that you are ready and able to adopt.
Keep in mind that the puppy / dog you apply for may already have several applications submitted and may no longer be available at the time you receive your approved status.
You must be at least 25 years of age to adopt.
Be able to show proof of your current address.
Show proof that you own your home or that the landlord/complex allows pets on the premises if you rent.
Ensure that the entire family and/or all of the occupants of the household can attend the meet and greet, should we choose to move forward with your application (there are no exceptions).
A home visit is required before adoption.
A Veterinary reference is required.
There is a non-refundable adoption fee. Includes spay/neuter, vaccinations, stool test, deworming, microchip
** Please note we do not have a facility, all of our dogs / puppies are in foster homes. Please keep this in mind when arranging a meet and greet, they need to be made via appointment. Meet and greets are also only set up with an approved application**
