Goodbye our sweet boy. Our hearts are in a million pieces. His life was short but he couldn’t have been more loved. Tripp was deteriorating from congenital defects and we decided to end his suffering.
We bought Tripp off of a craigslist ad to prevent him from getting put into bad hands. We thought we would be meeting an irresponsible pet owner but instead the woman who had him ended up being a really good person who has absolutely nothing. She spends every last dollar on feeding the stray cats on her street that depend on her even though she constantly faces getting evicted because of it. Every time one of them has kittens she brings them into her home and tries to find them good homes through Craigslist which hasn’t always happened. We truly believe Tripp was meant to be put into our lives. It gave him the best and most loving home for his short time here. It has also allowed us to help someone who is so much less fortunate than many of us.
Thank you everyone who donated and supported Tripp. It means the world to us. Rescue is hard but we are grateful for every day we get to do this. Run free angel, you are now at peace
